I attended my first yoga class in 1989 and was immediately hooked. I qualified as a Hatha yoga instructor in 1995. In 2004 I completed an Ashtanga teacher training course with David Swenson (USA) and in 2006 gained Yoga Alliance accreditation in Ashtanga yoga under the instruction of Anthony Kearney. Since then I have studied with many wonderful teachers in many yoga disciplines, including Danny Paradise, Lino Miele, Mohini Chatlani, Hanna Gillespie and Bridget Woods-Kramer.

I attend regular yoga workshops and passionately believe that yoga is essential for my health and well-being, incorporating aspects of Anusara, Iyengar, Vini, Yoga flow and shadow yoga in my practice and my teaching.

Person Centred Teaching

I am interested in person-centred teaching and have a Masters in Education from Trinity College. I believe that yoga can benefit everyone, regardless of age or physical condition. I have taught people from age 5 to 95, from school children to active sportspeople to those confined to a wheelchair. Because yoga is a holistic practice, all can benefit from its multi-faceted approach.
.

As well as working with private clients I also work with corporate clients including City of Dublin VEC, Na Fianna GAA club, PWC, Beaumont Hospital and Crosscare.

Holistic Treatments

Holistic comes from the Greek word ‘holos’ meaning whole. Holistic therapies treat the entire person – mind, body and spirit - to restore balance and harmony. I am an Indian Head massage therapist and a reflexologist. These treatments complement the benefits of yoga to help keep me energised and healthy and enable me to help others achieve balance and harmony in their lives.
